The casserole dish with lid made of enamel has the classic shape and is equipped with enamel handles. The lid rests well on the casserole dish and acts as an energy monitor: as soon as the lid starts to rattle, it is time to reduce the heat and thus save electricity. Depending on the stove, you can switch it off completely about 5 minutes before the end of cooking, as enamel retains heat for a long time. We therefore highly recommend using pot holders to lift the pots and lids, as the enamel handles also retain heat. The advantage of the enamel handles, however, is that you can safely slide the pot into the oven to keep it warm. The edge of the casserole dish has a robust chrome rim.

The casserole dish with lid is available in different sizes depending on the color and decor and is part of the basic equipment of every kitchen.

The material enamel consists of iron that was fused with glass at high temperatures, i.e. from natural raw materials.
