The classic enamel Casserole with lids from Riess impress with their straight, timeless shape and typical enamel handles. The precisely fitting lid sits securely on the casserole and acts as a practical energy monitor: when the lid begins to rattle slightly, the optimum cooking temperature has been reached and the heat can be reduced, saving energy. Depending on the stove, it can be turned off completely about 5 minutes before the end of cooking, as the enamel retains heat for a particularly long time.
As both the pot and the handles become hot, it is advisable to use oven gloves when lifting. A major advantage of the enamel handles is that they are oven-safe: the casserole dish can easily be placed in the oven to keep warm or finish cooking. The sturdy chrome rim provides additional protection against chipping and ensures a long service life.
